M6 traffic chaos: Motorway fully closed after crash sparks lengthy delays in Lancashire
Drivers faced major disruption on the M6 today after the motorway was closed in both directions following an early morning collision.
The closure affects the stretch between junction 27 at Wigan and junction 28 at Leyland. National Highways confirmed that two northbound lanes and one southbound lane remain shut.
