Popular quick-service sushi brand SushiDog is set to open its tenth site in London, continuing its steady growth across the capital.

The new location, situated in Fitzrovia, is expected to open by the end of the month and marks a significant step forward for the brand.

Writing on LinkedIn on 7 April, SushiDog co-founder Nick Goldstein described the occasion as “a particularly special day as we’ve hit double digits and opened our largest store yet”.

He reflected on the journey since the company’s inception, adding that he and co-founder Greg Ilsen “have come a long way from packing a van back in 2018 and driving all our kit to Westfield to open Site 1”.

SushiDog, known for its made-to-order sushi rolls, bowls, and salads, has seen rapid expansion supported by substantial investment. In early 2023, the company received £612,000 from Middleton Enterprises, followed by an additional £800,000 in funding later that year.

This financial backing is part of a broader strategy to open 30 new sites across London within the next five years, positioning the brand as a key player in the city’s fast-casual dining scene.

The Fitzrovia launch follows a successful year in which SushiDog opened four new sites, including branches in Bank and London Bridge. The upcoming store will be the largest to date, underlining the brand’s commitment to expanding its footprint and reaching more customers.

With its focus on fresh, customisable dishes and a clear vision for growth, SushiDog’s latest opening signals yet another strong move towards achieving its long-term goals.

SushiDog currently operates several locations across London, offering their signature sushi rolls, poke bowls, and Asian-inspired salads. Here are their existing sites:

  • Westfield London – Ariel Way, W12 7GF
  • Seven Dials – 1 Tower Street, WC2H 9NP
  • Soho – 54 Brewer Street, W1F 9TH
  • Bishopsgate – 166-170 Bishopsgate, EC2M 4LX
  • Baker Street – 107 Baker Street, W1U 6RP
  • Strand – 78 Strand, WC2R 0DE
  • London Bridge – 9A Borough High Street, SE1 9SU
  • New Oxford Street – 106a New Oxford Street, WC1A 1HB
  • Bank – 37 Coleman Street, EC2R 5EH

With the Fitzrovia opening on the horizon, SushiDog’s network of stores is quickly expanding to meet the growing demand for fresh, made-to-order sushi in London.
