Royal Mail Chaos: Website Crash Leaves Users Locked Out Across the UK
Royal Mail customers across the UK are facing serious disruption today after the company’s website went completely offline, triggering a wave of complaints from frustrated users.
The outage has hit hard. Many are unable to access key services such as parcel tracking and the Click & Drop feature, vital for businesses and online sellers.
According to Downdetector, over half of the reported issues relate directly to the website, with another 37% citing login problems and 7% struggling to track parcels.
Reports began flooding in from major cities, including London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Leeds.
The reaction online has been fierce. One customer vented: “Business click and drop down.”
Another added: “Site completely down (click & drop), RM are down more than Jack Grealish.”
Some didn’t hold back their frustration. “What a disgrace. They should be ashamed. 12 hours and still down. The app is as bad with almost daily outages.”
And one simply summed it up with: “Down, down, way on doooownnn.”
This latest crash follows earlier outages that affected both the Royal Mail and Post Office websites earlier in the month. Customers say the issues are becoming far too frequent.
Downdetector, the real-time service outage tracker, has flagged the issue as a significant one. The platform tracks reports from users and only confirms a service problem when those reports rise well above normal levels.
It’s become the go-to destination for customers when digital services fail — and it’s clear many turned to it today in frustration.
Royal Mail has yet to issue an official response, leaving users in the dark. The silence is only adding fuel to the fire.
As businesses brace for delays and customers express anger online, pressure is now mounting on Royal Mail to get its digital house in order — and fast.
