Freida Parton Addresses Dolly Parton Health Rumours: ‘I Didn’t Mean to Scare Anyone’
Freida Parton has moved to reassure fans after her recent comments about her sister Dolly Parton’s health sparked widespread concern.
On Tuesday, Freida took to Facebook, revealing that she had been “up all night praying” for the country music icon, explaining that Dolly “hasn’t been feeling her best lately”.
She also encouraged suckers worldwide to send their studies and prayers to the 79- time-old megastar.
The post snappily made captions, causing a flurry of enterprise about Dolly’s goods. Still, Freida returned to social media to clarify her intentions.
“I want to clear something up. I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious when asking for prayers for Dolly,” she wrote.

“She’s been a little under the weather, and I simply asked for prayers because I believe so strongly in the power of prayer. It was nothing more than a little sister asking for prayers for her big sister.”
Freida, 68, also expressed her gratitude to the singer’s fans for their continued support.
“Thank you all for lifting her up. Your love truly makes a difference,” she added.
The consolation comes after Dolly Parton recently announced that she’d defer a series of December musicales in Las Vegas due to “health challenges”.
Despite the detention, the fabulous songster-tunesmith promised that her return to the stage is still very much on the horizon.
“Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet,” Dolly said. “But I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures in life.”
