Arsenal Transfer Moves 2025: All Completed Ins and Outs for the New Season

Arsenal Football Club has wasted no time reshaping its squad ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, signalling serious intent as Mikel Arteta prepares for what could be a defining season in North London.

After years of pushing title rivals to the brink, the Gunners have once again stepped boldly into the transfer market, determined to go one better both domestically and in Europe. Their approach? Targeted, strategic, and with an eye for both quality and squad balance.

“Kepa Arrizabalaga joins Arsenal from Chelsea for £5 million.” “Martin Zubimendi signs from Real Sociedad for a reported £60 million.”
“Christian Nørgaard arrives from Brentford for £12 million.”

These are Arsenal’s first confirmed signings this summer—and they speak volumes. A reliable goalkeeper, a commanding midfielder, and a proven Premier League engine room addition. All three reflect Arteta’s intent to refine rather than overhaul.

But the club isn’t done yet. Negotiations are reportedly advanced for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres. Should the Swedish international sign, he’d become the fourth arrival—another signal of Arsenal’s front-footed summer.

Despite these captures, Arsenal aren’t slowing down. They’re keeping tabs on Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, with competition from Newcastle intensifying.

Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze is also firmly on the radar, with whispers of Arsenal looking to snatch the playmaker right from Tottenham’s grasp. Ambitious? Absolutely.

In defence, Valencia’s young talent Cristhian Mosquera has attracted attention for his composure and ball-playing abilities—a possible long-term partner for William Saliba?

Meanwhile, Hugo Ekitiké’s name has surfaced as another attacking option, with Liverpool and Manchester United also sniffing around.

While fresh faces arrive, several names have exited the Emirates. Perhaps the most emotional departure is Kieran Tierney, who rejoins Celtic on a free transfer after his contract expired. A fan favourite, his move marks the end of a passionate North London chapter.

“Jorginho is expected to sign with Flamengo after his deal expires.” “Thomas Partey is attracting European interest, notably from Barcelona.”

Nuno Tavares has completed a €5 million move to Lazio after a loan stint, while Marquinhos has been sold to Cruzeiro for £2.5 million.

Arsenal also released a long list of academy and fringe players, including Brian Okonkwo, Jack Henry-Francis, and Elian Quesada-Thorn, as part of a broader squad trim.

Takehiro Tomiyasu’s time at the club is over as well—his contract was terminated by mutual agreement, freeing up space and wages for future arrivals.

Arsenal’s transfer policy this summer is clear: refresh, strengthen, and compete.
The blend of calculated signings and necessary exits reflects a club that knows exactly what it wants. With Arteta at the helm, expectations are high—but so is the belief inside the Emirates.

And the window is far from closed. As the Gunners prepare for their Premier League opener, fans will be watching closely. More deals could drop. More twists might unfold.
