Residents of Taunton should brace themselves for a weekend of changeable rainfall, according to the latest Met Office rainfall forecast.

A blend of sun and showers is anticipated, with temperatures remaining mild. The Met Office advises that conditions may change, and the full cast can be viewed on metoffice.gov.uk.

Friday, 12 September, will start with light showers in the early hours, before clearing into sunny intervals by late morning. Temperatures will reach a high of 18 °C, dropping to a low of 11 °C.

Saturday, 13 September, is anticipated to be image Friday, with morning showers giving way to sun later in the day. “Temperatures will peak at 19°C and drop to 13°C,” the cast notes.

On Sunday, 14 September, heavy skies will dominate the morning, with light showers arriving by noontime. The mercury is anticipated to climb to 20 °C before falling back to 12 °C.

Monday, 15 September, offers a slightly brighter launch, with sunny intervals in the morning before shadows roll in during the early evening.

“The temperature will reach a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C,” the Met Office verified. This weekend, Taunton residers are advised to carry a marquee and sunglasses, a bit of both, just in case.
