Dame Patricia Routledge, beloved star of Keeping Up Appearances, has passed away aged 96, leaving behind a rich legacy in British television, theatre, and comedy.
The actress, best known for her iconic role as the social-climbing Hyacinth Bucket, pronounced “bouquet” in the classic BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, died peacefully in her sleep, her agent has confirmed.

She will be dearly missed by those closest to her and by her devoted admirers around the world.”
