Kojima Productions Unveils ‘Physint’: A Glimpse into the Future of Stealth Gaming
In a landmark 10th-anniversary livestream, Hideo Kojima has unveiled the first look at his upcoming stealth-action game, Physint. The project, a PlayStation exclusive, is poised to be a spiritual successor to the acclaimed Metal Gear Solid series.
The official poster, revealed during the livestream, features a shadowed protagonist under the tagline: “Here comes the feeling.”
Kojima describes Physint as the “next stage of tactical espionage action,” aiming to “break the barrier” between films and video games.
Star-Studded Cast
Three prominent actors have been confirmed for the game:
- Charlee Fraser (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga)
- Don Lee (Marvel’s Eternals, Train to Busan)
- Minami Hamabe (Godzilla: Minus One)
A detailed CG facial model of Hamabe’s character was showcased, highlighting the game’s advanced visual fidelity.
Currently in its conceptual stage, Physint is not expected to be released for another five to six years. Kojima is leading the project independently while Kojima Productions focuses on another title, OD.
This follows his recent work with the Death Stranding Mosquito Films teaser, showing how Kojima continues to explore cinematic storytelling within gaming.
