EasyJet Flight Bargains: Martin Lewis Urges Early Risers to Snag ‘Rock Bottom’ Summer 2026 Deals
Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has sounded the alarm for UK holidaymakers hoping to score ultra-cheap easyJet flights for summer 2026 — and it all comes down to acting fast, early, and smart.
In a fresh Instagram video, the financial guru issued what he called an “urgent” alert, urging travellers to be ready on Tuesday, July 22 when easyJet is expected to drop its next batch of flight seats for summer 2026. “Urgent: Super-cheap EasyJet Summer 2026 flights,”
Lewis captioned the video, diving straight into a breakdown of how easyJet’s ticket pricing works — and more importantly, when to strike.
“That means that the price of your flight depends on the demand at the time, and often, if you manage to book the flight the moment it’s launched, then there isn’t any demand and the price is rock bottom,” said Martin.
The key takeaway? EasyJet uses dynamic pricing. The earlier you book — particularly right as flights are released — the more likely you are to lock in unbeatable fares.
Unlike previous years where flight launch timings were vague or variable, Lewis confirmed that July 22, 2025 is the scheduled date for the next quarterly release — covering travel dates between 15 June and 13 September 2026.
While the exact release time remains unknown, Martin gave a realistic (and slightly painful) suggestion.
“You’re going to hate me for this, but if you really want to bag the super cheap flights, you probably want to be up at about 5.30 in the morning and refreshing to see if they’re available,” he advised. “As long as we don’t crash its website when we do that.”
He warned that prices can spike dramatically within hours of launch. In fact, he shared examples from previous years — like a 2023 flight to Lanzarote that cost £200 less at 6am compared to the price just two hours later.
No surprise — early birds get the deals. “Possibly the cheapest you’ll ever get the flights, but this is not guaranteed. It does not always work. It is a case of trial and error,” Lewis clarified.
He encouraged people to prepare ahead of time by comparing prices with other airlines now — that way, buyers will know what qualifies as a true bargain next Tuesday.
“So what I suggest you do before they start this, is you go and look at the prices other airlines are selling flights for next summer at, at the moment,” he said.
“So you’ve got a benchmark of what is a reasonable price and what isn’t a reasonable price.”
While easyJet won’t reveal how many seats are on offer, Lewis noted that during last year’s summer flight launch, over 10 million UK flights were released.
“As for when it’s going to launch, I don’t know. I can tell you from the past sometimes we’ve seen it at 5 or 6am, sometimes we’ve seen it at 8am, sometimes we’ve seen different flights to different places coming at different times during the morning.”

One thing’s certain — come Tuesday morning, thousands across the UK will be bleary-eyed, caffeine-fuelled, and refreshing their browsers in hopes of catching the next dream holiday for a fraction of the usual cost.
