Morrisons has launched a special Mother’s Day treat just in time for families planning a memorable celebration – but shoppers will need to act quickly, as the offer won’t be around for long.

£20 Afternoon Tea Bundle Attracts High Demand

The supermarket giant, currently undergoing significant restructuring with plans to shut 17 stores and 52 of its cafés across the UK, is still keen to deliver value to its customers with a new seasonal deal.

Exclusively available online, Morrisons is now offering a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Bundle for just £20, which includes a generous spread of sweet and savoury delights – perfect for treating mum without breaking the bank.

What’s Included in the Afternoon Tea Deal?

The £20 bundle, described by the retailer as “The Best Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Bundle”, offers a 16-piece sandwich platter alongside two selections from Morrisons’ bakery favourites. Here’s a look at what’s on the menu:

Sandwich Platter (16 Pieces Total)

  • 8 Chicken Caesar Sandwiches – Featuring British chicken breast, Caesar dressing, mayo, tomato, smoked bacon, lettuce, Italian hard cheese, and capers on onion bread.
  • 4 New York Deli Sandwiches – Made with British beef brisket, tomato, gherkin, Emmental cheese, and American-style mustard on rye bread.
  • 4 Mozzarella & Pesto Sandwiches – A vegetarian option with mozzarella, tomato, rocket, slow-roasted tomatoes, basil and pecorino pesto, and mayo on malted bread.

Bakery Selection (Choose Two)

  • Millionaire Shortbread
  • Mini Victoria Sponge Cakes
  • Chocolate-Loaded Brownies
  • Mini Lemon Sponge Cakes
  • Fresh Cream Scones
  • Cream Cake Selection Pack

Available Until 30th March

The popular afternoon tea set is only available until Sunday, 30th March, and can be ordered through the Morrisons website for delivery or in-store collection.

Given its affordability and variety, the deal is already seeing brisk demand from customers eager to spoil their mums this Mother’s Day.

Recent Store Closures Add Urgency

This limited-time offer comes in the wake of Morrisons’ announcement regarding the closure of 17 supermarkets and over 50 in-store cafés – part of a broader cost-cutting strategy by the retailer.

With the deal proving a hit and stock limited, shoppers are advised to place their orders sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
