Jessica Pegula sails into Wuhan Open Quarterfinals After Thrilling Victory
Jessica Pegula displayed fortitude and determination on Thursday, storming into the quarterfinals of the Wuhan Open after a hard-fought 7- 5, 3- 6, 6- 3 triumph over Ekaterina Alexandrova.
The match, which saw Pegula recover from an early service break in the decisive set, turned in her favour after she levelled at 2-2 and also claimed four of the final five games to secure the win.
