Pokémon Pop-Up Set to Take Over London’s Natural History Museum

Pokémon fans, mark your calendars. The Pokémon Company is bringing a one-of-a-kind pop-up event to the Natural History Museum in London in the near future.

Running from 26 January to 22 March 2026, the event promises a mix of immersive guests and exclusive wares that can not be set up anywhere differently.

A free ticket is needed for entry. Suckers keen to attend can subscribe now to be notified when tickets go live on 1 October.

Attendees can anticipate a variety of unique particulars, including apparel, stationery, accessories, prints, and a brand-new exclusive plush.

“There is such a wonderful alignment between Pokémon and the Natural History Museum – we’re obviously both big fans of the natural world and its evolution and diversity.

We hope this collaboration will spark joy and curiosity in the creatures around us, both in the world of Pokémon and Earth,” said Adam Farrar, director of commercial and visitor experience at the museum.

The pop-up’s merchandise shop, both in-person and online, will support the museum’s charitable mission.

Profits will contribute to the work of 400 scientists tackling global environmental challenges and furthering research into the natural world.

Select items from the range will also be available through The Pokémon Center UK.

However, visitors should note that there won’t be Pokémon Trading Card products at this pop-up, a move consistent with past museum events.

This is not The Pokémon Company’s first museum collaboration. In 2023, it partnered with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

Pokémon-themed particulars designed in apost-impressionist style went on trade in September, sparking huge crowds.

Scalpers snappily snapped up wares, and the limited-edition particulars vended out online within hours, egging an sanctioned reason from the company.

The London pop-up promises a more controlled experience, giving suckers a chance to explore Pokémon’s world while celebrating the prodigies of Earth’s own natural history.
