McDonald’s Launches New Breakfast Sausage Sandwich Across the UK
If you’re a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, McDonald’s is here to shake things up. Fans weary of the classic sausage and egg McMuffin can now look forward to something new and seriously tasty.
From this Wednesday, McDonald’s is introducing its latest breakfast treat: the Sausage Sandwich.
A proper breakfast option, it’s set to be a game-changer for those seeking variety without breaking the bank.
The new sandwich boasts a juicy, pork link croquette nestled inside a soft, pillowy bun. Guests can eclipse it with melted cheddar rubbish and choose between classic ketchup or rich brown sauce.
It’s a hearty bite that’s simple, satisfying, and, stylish of all, incredibly affordable.
Priced at just £1.99, it’s fairly catching the eye. If you pair it with one of McDonald’s selected drinks as part of a bundle deal, you’ll only pay £2.99. That’s a breakfast win if ever there was one.
The new Sausage Sandwich first made its way to stores in northern England earlier this year and is now being rolled out across the entire UK.
It’s part of McDonald’s Saver Menu, which also includes fan favourites like the Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, Hash Browns, and Porridge Pots.
Ben Fox, McDonald’s Chief Marketing Officer, commented on the launch: “We know our customers love a bit of fun as much as they love great value.
The new Sausage Sandwich may look like a burger, but it proves that looks can be deceiving.
It’s savoury, saucy and a proper breakfast treat, made with our delicious RSPCA assured pork patty, all from just £1.99 and of course only available until 11am!”
Monopoly Mania Returns
If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, McDonald’s is bringing back its hugely popular Monopoly promotion this Wednesday.
For the first time in its 20-year run, Monopoly stickers will be available on the Breakfast Wrap (£4.39), alongside all hot McCafé drinks.
That means you can now win prizes with your morning meal, not just lunch or dinner.
To celebrate the return of Monopoly, McDonald’s is refreshing its menu. Several fan-favourite items are making a comeback, along with two brand-new additions.
From 10 September, the Philly Cheese Stack (£6.29) will reappear. With two beef patties, gooey cheese sauce, grilled onions, crispy onions, and pickles packed into a toasted bun, it’s already been dubbed “sensational” and “the best” by fans.
The Chicken Big Mac(£5.69) is also returning. It combines two crisp funk galettes, rubbish, lettuce, pickles, and that iconic sauce we all know and love.
And if you’ve been missing them, the important Favored Mozzarella Ladles(£2.59) are making a comeback too.
It’s a breakfast bonanza. McDonald’s is proving once again that when it comes to starting your day, you’re in for a treat.
