Tragic Highlands Car Crash Claims the Lives of Three Teenagers
In a devastating incident late Thursday night, three teenage boys lost their lives following a car crash in the Highlands.
At approximately 11:15 PM on Thursday, emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a white Ford Fiesta on the A830, south of Arisaig. Upon arrival, they confirmed that all three individuals, believed to be male and in their mid-teens, had died at the scene.
Inspector Donnie MacKinnon expressed condolences, stating: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the people who died as a result of this crash.”
He added: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn’t already spoken to officers to get in touch.”
Inspector MacKinnon also urged: “I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
The A830 remained closed overnight to facilitate a thorough investigation. It was reopened around midday on Friday.
