A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Primrose Hill Park on the night of Friday, April 11, prompting an urgent investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

Girl, 16, Hospitalised After Alleged Rape in Primrose Hill Park

According to authorities, the teenager approached officers on patrol along Regents Park Road at approximately 10:50pm.

She reported that the assault had taken place within the park. Emergency services, including a London Air Ambulance, responded swiftly, and the girl was transported to the hospital. She is now being supported by specialist officers trained to deal with such sensitive cases.

A crime scene was established in the park as part of the ongoing investigation. As of now, no arrests have been made, but police enquiries remain active.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told the Evening Standard: “Officers on patrol were flagged down by a 16-year-old girl in Regents Park Road at 22:50hrs on Friday, 11 April who reported that she had been raped in Primrose Hill. She was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

She is being supported by specialist officers. A crime scene is in place in Primrose Hill. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.

The incident has sparked concern within the community, with residents calling for increased patrols and safety measures in and around Primrose Hill Park.
