‘My heart is so full’: Olly Murs Welcomes Second Child with Wife Amelia and Shares Regal Name
Pop sensation Olly Murs has become a father for the second time. The 40-year-old singer and TV presenter announced the arrival of his baby boy with fitness influencer wife Amelia Tank on Instagram this Thursday.
The pair were pictured leaving the hospital alongside their newborn son and their 17-month-old daughter, Madison.
In a heartfelt caption, Olly revealed the little one’s name: “Walking out as four. Welcome to the world, our little Albert.”

Amelia also participated the touching moment on her Instagram Story, adding “ My heart is SO full right now. ”
The couple, who changed promises in 2023, first revealed Amelia’s alternate gestation back in April with an lovable black- and-white videotape.
The clip showed the family tromping through a demesne, with Madison perched on Olly’s shoulders.
The toddler sported a denim jacket emblazoned with “BIG SIS”, while Amelia held a reel of baby scan images. Their caption read: “We’re so egg-cited to share this..… Another Baby Murs on the way.”
Olly and Amelia’s journey together began with a 2022 engagement, culminating in a wedding in July 2023. Their first child, Madison, was born in April 2024.
Reflecting on fatherhood, Olly has admitted that his previous tour commitments meant he missed out on some early nights with Madison. He told fans he’s determined to be more hands-on this time.
“I’m going to be around much more this time, and I can’t wait for the challenges of having two under two,” he shared.
He also praised Amelia’s calm and patient nature. “Amelia is such a calming presence and takes it all in her stride – I’ve learnt so much from her about being more patient and taking your time when it comes to having little ones.”
Earlier this year, the Essex-born singer opened up about his emotional struggles during his first stint as a touring dad. On his Heart radio show with reality star Mark Wright, Olly revealed he had “broke down in tears” after leaving his newborn daughter to tour with Take That.
He admitted: “It was really hard for me because I actually had to leave. So, two days after the baby was born, I had to leave and go on tour with Take That, and I didn’t really process it at the time.
And then about a few months later, me Amelia and were chatting, and I just sort of broke down in tears because I was just like I never got a chance to actually get to know this little baby.”
With baby Albert now safely home, the Murs family of four can finally savour the joys (and chaos) of life with two little ones.
