A 23-year-old man is recovering in hospital after a stabbing incident on Kilburn High Road, North London, on Sunday night (May 25). The attacker has yet to be caught.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 10.30pm following reports of a violent altercation.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police arrived at 10.28pm to find the man with a stab wound. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service provided initial treatment at the scene before he was rushed to the hospital.
His condition, while serious, has thankfully been confirmed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Officers were called to the scene of an altercation in Kilburn High Road, Kilburn, at 10.28pm on Sunday, May 25.
A 23-year-old man received treatment from the London Ambulance Service for a stab wound. He was then taken to hospital where his injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this stage. The investigation continues.”
As of now, no suspects have been apprehended. Police enquiries are ongoing, and detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The incident adds to growing concerns around knife crime in the capital, particularly among young men.
