Kai Schreiber Spotted in New York City with Mystery Companion Amid Fashion Triumphs
Kai Schreiber, daughter of Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, was seen enjoying a relaxed range through New York City on Wednesday, sparking curiosity over her mystery companion.
The 16- time-old looked radiant, holding hands with the unidentified existent as they navigated the bustling thoroughfares.
Kai decided on a casual yet swish ensemble, wearing a black- and-white banded long-sleeve dress, paired with black Converse coaches and a sizeable black handbag.
Her golden hair flowed in soft swells, and her makeup appeared minimal, pressing her natural gleam.
Her companion sported a laid-back look too: a black t-shirt layered over a green long-sleeve shirt, grey shorts, white sneakers, and a pink “I Heart NY” trucker cap.
While the nature of their relationship remains unclear, the pair seemed to enjoy each other’s company, laughing and chatting as they walked.
It has been a remarkable time for Kai, who made her runway debut for Valentino at Paris Fashion Week in March. Since also, she has graced multiple catwalks across major fashion centrals.
During New York Fashion Week in September, Kai modelled for Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Jason Wu, before jetting to Milan for Fendi, Max Mara, Moschino, and The Attico.
She latterly returned to Paris to walk in Mugler, Isabel Marant, and Valentino shows.
“What an incredible season. I am immensely and eternally grateful for everyone who put work in to make this beautiful season possible for me.
I had so much fun and I love you all,” Kai shared on Instagram after concluding the Spring/Summer fashion season.
The young model has also opened up about her ambitions and inspirations in Interview magazine. “I always wanted to grow up and be a beautiful, glamorous, influential woman, like Marilyn [Monroe],” she said.
“I want to be a supermodel. Period. I’ve been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years; my mom can show you all the videos I forced her to film. Struggling with gender identity from a young age most likely had something to do with it.”
Kai praised notable figures in the fashion and LGBTQ+ community for inspiring her journey. “I’m always going to look up to the older generation of transgender people, especially in fashion,” she explained. “It’s so great that there’s a strong community of us in the fashion world; it’s really a doll takeover.”
The youthful child of Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, Kai also has an aged family, 18- time-old Sasha, who lately left for council.
The couple, who resolve in 2016 after 11 times together, have been unwaveringly probative of Kai’s transition. Liev participated perceptivity into their son’s personality and adaptability with Variety.
“Kai was always who Kai is. But I suppose the most profound moment was her asking us to change her pronouns,” he said.
“To be honest with you, it didn’t feel like that big of a deal to me, only because Kai had been so feminine for so long.”
He added praise for her courage and strength: “Kai is such a fighter. It’s important that she goes, ‘Hey, I am trans,’ and, ‘Look at me,'” he said.
“[Teenagers are] such a pain in the [expletive] so much of the time, and Kai is as feisty and outspoken as they come.”
