Set to Jess Glynne’s pop anthem “Hold My Hand”, the ad promised travellers a sweet £50 saving per person. But it wasn’t the discount that caught the internet’s attention.

“I’ve always known that British people have a really funny sense of humor… but you know what, this has gone global,” Lister revealed in an Instagram video. She says she’s receiving messages from as far afield as the United States, where Jet2 doesn’t even operate.
“They don’t know what a Jet2holidays is, but they want one,” she laughed.

While Brits are being swept away by Jet2, similar offerings are booming abroad, like JetBlue Vacations in the US, which offers flight, hotel, and cruise bundles with tempting perks.
In fact, all-inclusive travel is having a serious moment. A recent Expedia Group survey showed that 42% of Gen Z travellers prefer all-inclusive resorts over traditional hotel stays.
And searches for the term “all-inclusive” on Hotels.com surged by 60% in early 2024 compared to the latter half of 2023.
It’s easy to see why. Simple planning. No hidden costs. Total escapism.
So, should you be going on a Jet2Holiday? Well, if TikTok is anything to go by, yes. Whether you’re chasing sunsets or just escaping the rain, there’s something undeniably tempting about a getaway where the biggest decision is which cocktail to order first.
