Donald Trump to Visit Israel and Egypt Following Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
US President Donald Trump has announced plans to travel to Israel and Egypt next week, as a breakthrough ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas moves forward.
The agreement, hailed as a “great deal” by Trump, is expected to secure the release of hostages and the return of around 28 bodies.
“It is a great deal for Israel, but it’s a great deal for everybody, for Arabs, for Muslims, everybody, for the world. On Monday, the hostages come back. They’re in some pretty rough places under Earth.
Only a few people know where they are… They’re also getting approximately 28 bodies. Some of those bodies are being unearthed right now as we speak. It’s a tragedy. I’ll be going to Israel.

I’ll be speaking at the Knesset. Then I’m also going to Egypt. Everybody wants this deal to happen,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday.
The US President described the deal as a crucial step not only for Gaza but for the wider Middle East. He expressed sanguinity about the region’s reconstruction, pressing the implicit part of the fat neighbouring countries.
“I think Gaza is going to be rebuilt. There are some very wealthy countries there. It would take a small fraction of their wealth to do that.
Gaza is very important, but this is beyond Gaza. This is peace in the Middle East. It is a beautiful thing,” Trump added.
Trump’s visit to Israel will include an address to the Knesset, signalling Washington’s active part in the region’s peace sweats.
His posterior trip to Egypt is seen as part of a broader drive to solidify the ceasefire and encourage political cooperation.
Thousands have started returning to their homes since the ceasefire took effect, highlighting the fragile optimism in Gaza.
The advertisement comes amid growing transnational interest in stabilising Gaza after weeks of conflict. Judges suggest that the hostages’ release and the reclamation of bodies could mark a turning point in US-led agreement sweats.
With his visits to Tel Aviv and Cairo, Donald Trump aims to support ties with crucial allies while promoting a vision of renewed peace and reconstruction in the Middle East.
