Coca-Cola HBC Eyes Top-End Revenue Growth Amid Strong Demand and Price Moves
Coca-Cola HBC is setting its sights high for 2025, aiming to hit the upper limit of its organic revenue growth target. The company, which bottles popular drinks like Sprite, Fanta, and Monster, revealed plans to reach the top end of its previously forecasted 6% to 8% growth range.
And what’s fuelling this confidence? A combination of steady consumer demand and strategic price hikes.
Despite inflation biting into household budgets, Coca-Cola HBC has managed to hold its ground. Like many other big names in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, the bottler has been gradually increasing prices to protect its margins. So far, it’s paying off.
For the half-year period ending June 27, the group reported a 9.9% jump in organic revenue, right on the money with what analysts had anticipated, according to a company-conducted poll.
Emerging markets have played a starring role in this success. From Africa to Central and Eastern Europe, organic net sales soared by 17.4%. That’s a significant boost and shows resilience in regions often seen as more vulnerable to global economic swings.
“We are mindful of what is a challenging and unpredictable macroeconomic and geopolitical environment, but given our strong start to the year, we now expect to deliver growth in organic revenue and EBIT at the top end of our guided ranges,” said CEO Zoran Bogdanovic.
Still, the company isn’t getting carried away. Executives remain cautious, acknowledging that factors like geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty, especially those linked to shifting U.S. trade policies, could cloud the outlook.
The news signals Coca-Cola HBC’s ability to adapt and thrive despite global headwinds. It also hints at broader industry trends, where brand power and pricing strategy continue to be crucial weapons in navigating choppy waters.
In a market environment that’s anything but predictable, Coca-Cola HBC is betting on its playbook, premium branding, pricing control, and focus on high-growth regions to keep the momentum going.
