Bexleyheath Broadway gears up for free Titan the Robot spectacle
Shoppers and families in Bexleyheath are in for a surprise this summer. A towering robot is set to take over Bexleyheath Broadway for one day only, and he’s promising a day of laughter, music, and unforgettable moments.
Titan the Robot, a mechanical entertainer loved worldwide, will roll into town on Saturday, 16 August, delivering three free performances across the day. “No booking is needed for the performances, which are open to all ages.”
Famed for his cheeky humour, slick dance moves, and unmistakable booming voice, Titan has become a star attraction at major global events, from the Winter Olympics to New York Fashion Week, and even wowed audiences on Britain’s Got Talent.
For younger visitors, the fun doesn’t stop there. Alongside the shows, kids can get hands-on in robot-making workshops. Armed with balsa wood and a spark of imagination, they’ll be building their own mini robot puppets to take home.
Workshop tickets drop on the Broadway Eventbrite page at 8am, Sunday, 10 August, and demand is expected to be fierce.
Created by UK-based Cyberstein Robotics, Titan has toured in over 50 countries, winning fans with his unique blend of comedy and showmanship.
The event is being championed by Bexleyheath BID, a local business improvement group that’s been driving community events, town-centre upgrades, and business support since 2011. Backed by over 230 shops, restaurants, and services, the BID’s mission is to keep Bexleyheath buzzing.
So, whether you’re there for the jokes, the dancing, or to give your kids a taste of creative fun, Bexleyheath Broadway will be the place to be this August.
