Bethnal Green is set to welcome a bold new flavour this summer as Bad Boy Pizza Society, known for its award-winning NYC-style pizza, opens a permanent pizzeria in the heart of East London. Following success across pop-ups in Tulse Hill, Seven Dials Market and Vinegar Yard, this move signals a new era for the brand.

A Permanent Home for NYC-Style Pizza in Bethnal Green

The new pizzeria at 419 Bethnal Green Road will cater to both the lunchtime rush and relaxed evening diners. During the day, expect fast, flavourful slices to go. By night, it’s all about the dine-in experience — rustic, relaxed and full of East Coast attitude.

With its reputation already secured — having been crowned National Pizza of the Year in 2022 and again in 2024 — the team are going all in.

Pizza That Packs a Punch

At the centre of the menu is what they do best: NYC-style pizza inspired by Italian-American classics. The current line-up across their existing locations features:

Signature Pizzas You’ll Want to Try

  • The Crusty Old Goat – “Mozzarella, goat’s cheese, caramelised onions, black pepper, balsamic glaze and parsley”
  • Notorious PIG – “Tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, fresh basil, parmesan”
  • Fungi Town – “Mozzerella, whipped lemon ricotta, mushrooms, fresh thyme, oregano, truffle oil, parsley”

Each slice is big, bold and unapologetically delicious — just what you’d expect from a true NYC-style pizza Bethnal Green eatery.

There’s more to the menu than meets the eye. Hungry visitors can tuck into:

  • Chicken vodka parms
  • Giant Caesar salad sharers
  • Carbonara suppli – deep-fried indulgence at its finest

To pair with it all? A curated drinks menu featuring locally brewed beers, a new house lager, plus cheeky shots like house-made limoncello and spicy picklebacks.

Bethnal Green has become a hotspot for food and drink lovers, and pairing a post-slice pint with a visit to one of the top-rated pubs in London makes for an ideal evening out.

As part of the big launch, Bad Boy Pizza Society has rolled out a Kickstarter campaign. Supporters can snag:

  • Exclusive branded merchandise
  • A year’s supply of NYC-style pizza
  • A spot on the new pizzeria’s Wall of Fame

To join the campaign, visit the Kickstarter page linked on their social media or website.

With the opening of their first permanent site, Bad Boy Pizza Society is delivering more than just slices; they’re bringing the NYC pizza experience to East London.

From late-night slices to sit-down dinners, NYC-style pizza Bethnal Green is no longer a dream. It’s real, it’s cheesy, and it’s coming this summer.

  • Find them at 419 Bethnal Green Road, London E2 0AN.
