Three people have tragically lost their lives following a serious collision between a car and a bus in Feltham, West London.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Bedfont Road at approximately 23:55 BST on Monday, where they discovered both vehicles engulfed in flames. All three people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene, while a fourth individual was taken to the hospital with injuries.

According to the Metropolitan Police, two passengers travelling on the H26 bus service, which was heading towards Hatton Cross, were also taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Other individuals involved received treatment from paramedics at the scene.

London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service were quickly on the scene following the collision. The blaze was completely brought under control by 01:41 BST.

Assistant Commissioner Paul McCourt of London Fire Brigade stated: “The thoughts of everyone within the brigade are with the families impacted by this tragic incident.

I’d like to thank our crews and emergency service colleagues for the determination and dedication they showed when responding to this difficult situation. The brigade will speak with our firefighters that attended and offer support through our counselling and trauma services where required.”

Claire Mann, Chief Operating Officer at Transport for London (TfL), also expressed condolences, saying: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the people who were tragically killed yesterday in a collision involving a bus and a car.

This is a devastating incident and we have support available for those affected. Safety is our top priority and we are working urgently with the police on their investigation.”

Authorities confirmed that surrounding roads would remain closed while investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
