Former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn has turned her bold career move into a massive success story.
Since leaving the hit Channel 4 cleaner in 2021, the actress, formerly known to millions as Mandy Richardson, has earned a seven-figure income through the subscription platform OnlyFans, fully reconsidering her career and fiscal freedom.
Dunn, now 44, was dropped from Hollyoaks after refusing to quit OnlyFans, but her decision has since paid off freeheartedly.
Her company, Catpig Ltd, recently reported assets worth £369,000, while overall earnings are believed to have reached around £1 million over the past two years.
Not just content with online fame, Dunn has also invested £250,000 in her first rental property in Cheshire through her new business venture, Catpig Properties Ltd, showing that her entrepreneurial spirit is stronger than ever.
Reflecting on her first year on OnlyFans, Dunn admitted the transition wasn’t easy. “It was scary as hell. I just knew I had to do what was right for me and my family.”
Since then, she’s embraced her new life, calling it empowering, freeing, and full of joy. The former soap star says she finally feels in control, both financially and personally.
Juggling work and motherhood, Dunn remains the main breadwinner at home. Her young son, Stanley, has started to notice her fame, which she finds both amusing and grounding.
She often calls herself an “accidental influencer,” but one who aims to set an example built on confidence, independence, and authenticity.
Dunn’s story highlights a growing trend among British influencers using platforms like OnlyFans to sculpt their own path, challenging the traditional boundaries of fame and success.
Her trip from Hollyoaks to high-earning entrepreneur proves one thing, occasionally, the most controversial choices lead to the most important issues.
