Battlefield 6 Launch Week Twitch Drops and Game Pass Update
The wait is finally over. Battlefield 6 has officially stormed into launch week, and EA is celebrating the occasion in proper military fashion, with free Twitch Drops, exclusive cosmetics, and an avalanche of launch bonuses.
The long-anticipated first-person shooter landed on 10 October, bringing its signature large-scale warfare and chaos to new-generation platforms.
But here’s the part that’s got many UK gamers talking: Battlefield 6 isn’t launching on Game Pass just yet.
While many hoped to dive in on day one through Xbox Game Pass, the game is not included in the service at launch. However, players using EA Play Pro on PC will have full access immediately.
Game Pass subscribers may have to bide their time, as EA is expected to add Battlefield 6 to the platform at a later date, following its usual release pattern.
Launch Week Twitch Drops Revealed
EA is rolling out a week-long celebration from 10 to 17 October, rewarding fans who tune into Battlefield 6 streams on Twitch.
The event features four exclusive drops, a Soldier Skin, Weapon Package, Dog Tag, and Vehicle Skin, all designed with that classic, gritty military edge the franchise is known for.
To claim them, players need to link their EA and Twitch accounts, then watch participating streamers within the Battlefield 6 category.
Rewards must be claimed within 24 hours through Twitch’s Drop Inventory before logging into the game to unlock the items.
Twitch Drop Rewards and How to Earn Them?
Reward | How to Unlock |
---|---|
Versatile (Soldier Skin) | Subscribe or gift a subscription to an eligible Battlefield 6 streamer |
Called Shotgun (Dog Tag) | Watch a Battlefield 6 stream for one hour |
Cyber War (Weapon Package) | Watch for two hours |
Green Falcon (Vehicle Skin) | Watch for three hours |
The Versatile Soldier Skin stands out as the only item requiring a paid action, a subscription or a gifted subscription.
Meanwhile, the Cyber War Weapon Package is already gaining attention among players for its lethal shotgun setup, perfectly tuned for close-quarters chaos.
Preorder Bonuses
Players who preordered the game before launch will find themselves well-equipped from day one.
The preorder bundle includes the Hatchet Weapon Package, Soldier Patch, Weapon Sticker, Player Card, Weapon Charm, and an XP Boost Set.
EA, dün Battlefield 6’ya EA uygulaması üzerinden erişemeyen oyunculara XP Boost tokenleri ve ilk sezonun Battle Pass’ini ücretsiz vereceğini açıkladı.

Those who opted for the Phantom Edition get an even bigger arsenal: the Battle Pass, 25 Tier Skips, the Shrouded and Drop Shadow Weapon Packages, the Chimera Vehicle Skin, and the Phantom Squad Soldier Skin Pack, a collection of four elite cosmetics.
The launch hasn’t been entirely smooth. A handful of players have reported an odd error prompting them to purchase DLC just to access multiplayer or campaign modes. EA has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix.
On the brighter side, the developers have already deployed a hefty day-one patch addressing hundreds of tweaks, from weapon balance and movement refinements to vehicle handling and user interface polish.
The team also confirmed that Battlefield 6 won’t be available on last-generation consoles, ensuring full optimisation for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
In short, Battlefield 6 on Game Pass isn’t happening, at least not right now. If you want to dive in straight away, you’ll need to purchase the game or have an EA Play Pro subscription on PC.
For fans who love collecting in-game cosmetics, the Twitch Drops event is an easy way to gear up without spending a fortune.
Just a bit of viewing time, and perhaps a sub to your favourite streamer- will set you up with some exclusive gear.
Battlefield 6 is here, louder and sharper than ever, ready to reclaim its place among the FPS greats. And while Game Pass users might need to wait a little longer, the battlefield itself is open, and it’s already roaring.
