Northern Rail Unveils £2 Flash Sale, Millions of Tickets Available for Three Days Only
Train travel across the North of England is about to get a whole lot cheaper. Northern Rail has announced a flash sale, offering over three million tickets from just £2. But there’s a catch: the offer lasts only three days.
Starting at 8am today (Tuesday, 30 September), passengers have until Thursday, 2 October, to snap up the bargains. Travel dates for discounted tickets are between Monday, 6 October, and Friday, 24 October 2025.
Tickets are available through Northern’s website, app, ticket offices, or at ticket machines at stations managed by the operator.
The most popular destinations include Preston, Blackpool North, Blackburn, Bolton, Manchester, Manchester Airport, Leeds, Shipley, Rochdale, Stockport, Bradford, Sheffield, Wigan Wallgate, Hebden Bridge, Meadowhall, Liverpool Lime Street, Skipton, Wilmslow, Doncaster, Ilkley, Hull, and Wakefield Westgate.
