Daniel Schneemann’s two-run single in the seventh handed pivotal insurance runs. Still, the game was marred by a concerning incident when Guardians first baseman David Fry was struck in the face by a 99 mph pitch during a bunt attempt.
Shindig was supported off the field and taken to the sanitarium, with updates on his condition pending.
