Radiohead Tour Returns After Seven Years – How to Register for Tickets?

Suckers of Radiohead have reason to celebrate. After a seven- time hiatus, the fabulous band is hitting the road again across Europe.

The advertisement comes following the mysterious appearance of pamphlets in metropolises like London, Berlin, Madrid, Bologna, and Copenhagen this week, sparking excitement among suckers.

The stint is set to run from November to December, with four nights in each megacity. UK suckers can catch them at The O2 in London across 21, 22, 24, and 25 November.

Drummer Philip Selway shared a heartfelt message about the reunion: “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it.

After a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.

It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.”

How to Register for Tickets?

To buy tickets, suckers mustpre-register on Radiohead’s functionary website. This step is aimed at reducing the influence of bots and ticket touts, icing a fair chance for real suckers.

Each person can purchase up to four tickets per show. Priority will be given to those living closest to the venues, though allocations are also available for European and international fans. A band-provided map will illustrate ticket distribution across regions.

The band verified charitable benefactions from ticket deals UK tickets will include a£ 1 tax supporting the Live Trust, which helps grassroots venues, while in Europe,€ 1 per ticket will go to Médecins Sans Frontières, matched by the band.

Radiohead last performed live in 2018, traveling for their reader A Moon Shaped Pool. This seven- time gap marks the longest break in the band’s career.

During that time, Thom Yorke released his single reader Anima and formed The Smile with Jonny Greenwood and drummer Tom Skinner.

Jonny Greenwood has focused on scoring major films such as Spencer, The Power of the Dog, and Licorice Pizza, plus the upcoming One Battle After Another by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Yorke has also scored films, including Suspiria and Confidenza, and even ventured into classical composition.

Bassist Colin Greenwood hinted at the possibility of the reunion earlier this year: “We did some rehearsals about two months ago in London, just to play the old songs. And it was really fun, had a really good time.”

Fans speculate classics like Paranoid Android, No Surprises, and Karma Police could feature in the setlist. Guitarist Ed O’Brien added that Radiohead remains an “ongoing” group that regularly checks in with each other.
