Liverpool New Kit Unveiled: Reds Kick Off Adidas Era with Sleek 2025-26 Designs
Premier League title-holders Liverpool have officially launched their brand-new 2025-26 kits, unveiling both home and away strips in style at Anfield on Friday. The launch marks the beginning of a fresh chapter, a 10-year partnership with Adidas.
It’s a reunion, not a first. The German sportswear titan has twice outfitted the Reds in the past, first between 1985 and 1996, a golden period that delivered three league crowns, and then again from 2006 to 2012, when Liverpool lifted both the FA Cup and League Cup.
This latest home shirt? A return to roots. Gone are last season’s busy designs. Instead, fans are treated to a crisp, all-red jersey with clean white trim. Simple. Bold. Powerful.
The subtle white piping curving around the torso gives it a retro nod, echoing elements from the Warrior-era 2014-15 kit, but many suspect it’s an intentional throwback to the fan-favourite 2006-08 Adidas strip.
As for the away kit, Adidas kept things understated. A plain white canvas, accented with clean red and black touches. Minimalist, yet classy. It may not push boundaries, but it does honour the club’s heritage.
Look closely and you’ll spot some thoughtful details. The Liver Bird crest has been reimagined, inspired by Anfield’s Main Stand roof, a wink to the stadium’s early 20th-century design.
There’s also emotion stitched into the fabric. The iconic “97” Hillsborough flames remain, paying tribute to the lives lost. And in a poignant new addition, supporters can now add a small decal of the late Diogo Jota’s No. 20 to their replica kits.
“All profits will be donated to the LFC Foundation, which is planning a grassroots football project in Jota’s name,” the club confirmed.
Fans won’t have to wait long to see the kits in action. Liverpool’s men’s squad will debut the home strip in early August during back-to-back friendlies against Athletic Club at Anfield.
The away kit follows soon after, set to be worn for the first time at Wembley against Crystal Palace in the Community Shield.
Sleek. Symbolic. Sentimental. Liverpool’s new Adidas kits blend tradition and tribute in a way that feels unmistakably Red. And with the Premier League winners ready to defend their crown, the message is clear — they’re not just dressing for the occasion, they’re dressing for dominance.
