Victoria Bus Crash: Shocking Images Emerge as Passengers and Pedestrians Rushed to Hospital
A terrifying incident unfolded near Victoria Station this morning as a Route 24 bus veered off course, mounting the pavement and colliding with pedestrians.
The crash left several injured, including passengers and bystanders, though authorities have confirmed there are no reported fatalities.
Around 9:30 AM, commuters witnessed a harrowing scene as the bus careened onto the pavement. Eyewitnesses described the atmosphere as chaotic, with people screaming and scrambling for safety.
Emit Suker, 47, who was on the bus, recounted the ordeal: “There were about 15, 16 people inside the bus. People were screaming – it was terrible.”

Another witness, who preferred to remain anonymous, shared: “I heard a massive crash, came outside and there was a woman on the floor with loads of people around her. Lots of people from the gym had run out to help her.”
Emergency services responded swiftly, with multiple police vehicles, ambulances, and a fire engine arriving at the scene. A London Air Ambulance was also dispatched to assist.
A trail of diesel was observed running down Allington Street, prompting authorities to ban smoking in the area due to fire hazards.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the driver of the bus and several pedestrians have been taken to hospital.
Fortunately, there have been no fatalities reported at this time. An investigation is underway, but no arrests have been made.
Rosie Trew, Transport for London’s Head of Bus Service Delivery, expressed concern and solidarity: “Our thoughts are with the people who have been injured following a bus incident at Victoria Street.
We are working with the police and the operator, Transport UK, to urgently investigate this incident.
This must have been a distressing incident for everyone involved and we have support available for anyone affected.”
Victoria Street remains closed as authorities continue their investigation. All vehicles are being diverted from the area, causing significant traffic disruptions.
