A 16- time-old boy is in a critical condition after being shot in Sheffield on Monday evening, leaving the local community shocked.
The incident happened shortly before 520 PM on London Road, prompting emergency services to rush the teen to a nearby sanitarium. London Road has been partially closed as police carry out a detailed investigation into the firing.

The boy’s family is presently by his side at the sanitarium, facing the distressing reality of his condition. Neighbours have described the incident as “shocking,” pressing growing concerns over youth crime in Sheffield.

Detective Chief Inspector Emma Knight, who’s leading the investigation, called the firing “terrible” and appealed for public support in tracking down those responsible.
