What Croydon Council Said

A Croydon Council spokesperson commented, “Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time during these essential maintenance periods. These works are critical to improving infrastructure and ensuring future reliability.”

Further updates and detailed diversion routes can be found on Croydon Council’s official website.

The months ahead look challenging for Croydon motorists. With road and lane closures scattered across the borough, commuters are advised to check live updates and plan alternative routes wherever possible.

While the disruptions may cause short-term inconvenience, the improvements promise safer and more reliable roads for the future.
